So like many adults, I’ve been working. I apologize I’ll try to roll out the rest of the Fall Reviews and the new Winter Preview soon. There is just so much to keep up with and so many new ones that have come out.
I am super excited for MInami-ke’s return, but also Hanganai Next, and Chihayafuru 2. All three shows I thought were great and happy to see them back. The Winter also contains several shows rolling through the 11/13 mark that will be reviewed in the fall wrap up. The other big note is that Winter contains a lot more School, Slice of Life, and Comedy which will make my review job easier.
I am not going to lie, there are a few shows that are going to be low on my list to watch or may drop off. The animation, theme, and, and setting are huge for me to even take a watch and some shows will get the death blow after one episode or never being seen at all. Even though I love comedy and half this season is comedy at least, art style like Ishida to Askura (ONA) does not interest me. Speaking of ONA’s, they are generally left best for when they are all done, honestly watching 3 minute segments make it hard for me to sit down and get into them. With that in I’ll probably give thoughts, but Yama no Susume, Mangirl!, Hetalia The Beautiful World, and Boku no Imoto wa “Osaka Okan” will probably be reviewed but not previewed when they finish. Then take into account shows like Ganbare!, Beast Saga and gdgd Fairies S2, three shows I probably won’t touch, nor have I hunted down fansubs of as of yet.
The final thought of the shows returning I don’t have fresh in my mind or didn’t pay close attention too. Da Capo III and Karen Children are all shows I am going to re-watch prior to viewing. Yes, I do this. It is alas the other reason why I have not been updating. To prepare, I am re-watching all of Zettai Karen Children (51 Eps) as we speak. Da Capo will also take sometime to re-watch giving me a total of 39 in two seasons.
Lastly I am going to enjoy wrapping up the Fall Season shows. The good news is I am down to only a few left or waiting on the last episodes. The bad news is I still need to review back through Hiiro no Kakera to make sure I catch everything and Sword Art Online (which I held off on at episode 12). That same thought also applies to Robotics;Notes, however I still have the Winter Season to go through to get through Steins;Gate and I am done Chaos;Head.
